North Coast 2005 Winter Duathlon Series Race 1
Sunday 10th July 2005

The North Coast 2005 UBD Duathlon Series is off and running. We were greeted with wonderful weather and as usual an excellent course. The competition was keen and there was plenty of enthusiastic support.

The day was won by Captain Kim Vivian, followed by Paul Covich and Barry Silverlock. Some other serious challenges were laid for next race – Dave is going to get Nimal, Sean is after Dave Mulhall and Sara is gunning for Eddy. Some other challenges could be in the offering – will Crofty (or is it Crafty) beat Scotty (or have they both retired?), will Tania have Sue’s measure, Will the “Shank” even race? These will all be answered at our next race on July 24th.
